Transportation Management System (TMS)
A recent addition to the BlueSeer Software portfolio is a Freight Management / TMS solution. This latest functionality to the BlueSeer application supports the logistics industry by providing a free application to plan, execute, and optimize their freight management and logistics requirements. This new functionality has been integrated with the financial mechanics that already exist within the BlueSeer package such as invoicing, AR Aging, Credit/Debit Memo, and other financial actions reporting that may be required.
BlueSeer provides a mechanism to schedule your drivers and freight orders for the most efficient use of truck, driver, and other resources. Freight orders can be tracked by status, driver, and other key metrics within the lifecycle of the freight hauling process. Driver and vehicle info is made readily available for exceptions handling as well as automatic alerts for expiration events on the event of scheduler driver and/or vehicle.
One of the better functional assets of the BlueSeer Freight Management tool is it's built-in integration with EDI mechanics. BlueSeer accomodates the standard carrier EDI transaction sets (204, 990, 214, and 210) internal to the application and does not require additional software to support EDI functionality. BlueSeer has the EDI communications and mapping tools necessary to exchange EDI with your customers, vendors and trading partners.
